Hi there,
I’m Haida, a clinician with over fifteen years of experience in mental health and education. My work has included therapeutic, teaching, research, and leadership roles, all centred on creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported. I was born and raised on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied territory of the sqílxʷ Okanagan People, spending much of my childhood in the old-growth forests of Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. That early connection to nature continues to shape my work today.
My educational background includes degrees in Psychology and Education, a Master's in Clinical Social Work, graduate training in Special Education, and advanced training in Trauma-Informed Practice. I’m currently pursuing certifications in EMDR, Canine-Assisted Therapy, and Nature-Based Therapy, reflecting my long-standing interest in creative expression, animals, and the outdoors.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward well-being, I’m here to support your process.
